Who, what and where????

Post by kenny3kz »

I have been looking around for a while and im very close to purchasing a splitty with finances looking better. Could someone please steer me in the right direction of what mods are a good idea? I want to slam it so im thinking IRS? What about the front? Disk brakes? Engine? Transmission? I am from Melb. Is there any suggestions where i should take it to get work done? Prices? Any help would be appreciated. cheers

Could recommend Delux Kustom Restos/ Dub Customs in Dandenong. They did the majority of work on mine (refer members rides if you want). Cant talk highly enough of their craft. Mine's bog boring standard though, but they have done some trick mods to other type 1's & 2s.

Cheers, matt

1600 twin port (entry level motor), Lbug single side plate, IRS lowered front beam. Good for 80+mph and wont send you broke.

Indian Automotive in Penrith can supply all your bits and freight them down to to you.
Then you could get the Deluxe team to fit it all out for you.
Kombi Rescue also does that sort of work. I don't know if they send the parts interstate but it won't take long to find out.
