The past week has been around 21degrees C everyday, so I took advantage of that and work half days and decided to get the cab and cargo doors painted. Pretty stoked to get them finished off this afternoon by masking and spraying the Pearl white.

I’ve started some colour sanding on the body and it’s starting to come up nice, pics of that to come…

Also got the fuel flap and parcel tray painted as well but haven’t got a pic of the parcel tray

1200 to flatten out the surface then 1500 and 2000. Using small soft block

Cartec 5000 cutting compound with a wool pad on the machine buff. Followed by same product on a foam pad on the buff. Not a bad product but there are others out there with good reviews. This one was available local to me so I went with it. They also sell a 12000 cut too but haven’t tried it.

Chemical guys C4 compound with a slightly softer foam pad on the buff

Finished off with Chemical guys Butter Wet Wax by hand with a foam applicator
