I think i said Hi??

Post by tar76 »

Can't remember if i have ever introduced myself on here before, so thought better late than never.

Names Tarin, been hovering around the forum on and off (name changes) for awhile never really got to invlolved as i haven't owned a split until now.
With the help from a good friend (Ian) this dream has finally come true with a 66 11 window. It needs the usual welding down low and all the other fun stuff in putting a non driver back on the road.
I own two other dubs a 73 bay and a 62 standard beetle.

cheers.

After all these years I've sat watching you guysngals showing and talking about your splits with envy, and 6 bays later i now am proud to say the wifey and i have finally reached that goal of having a split in the shed. We are the new proud owners of Resol old bus Ratso...big thanks goes out to Grant as he put a lot of blood sweat n tears into the old fella and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke !
So Ratso's story now takes a different path and what Grant started we'll only build from. At the moment were taking a bit of cancer out of the roof, and hopefully in a couple of months we'll hit him with the lowering stick.
Ratso was really suppose to be the wifey's bus, but i'll just let her keeping thinking that
