That's incredible. Looks like it has held up incredibly well. Can't wait to see some more pics. Does the engine turn over?

Welcome & Wow - that's a nice 1st Thread 8)
I guess our kids - kids will say the same thing in 50 years - "look what I just inherited'
Geez that looks good - What's inside the back like ?
Do those sides look as good in the flesh as they look on the puter ?

I would be stoked with a find like that. I assume once you start working on it you will uncover some surprises but it definately looks like a great solid bus to start.
Congrats

What a find, ribbed bumpers, semaphores, dove blue, small rear window.....thats a winner.

Will look super cool with a coat of Penatrol to bring a nice lustre to it, hope it keeping it's OG paint ?

Best wishes and congrats on the find

Bus was my wife's uncles from new. Sheep farming mostly, west of Melb. I have the original service book as well. Inner &outer front valances mostly gone and some medium holes in the rear sub floor top hat. About a 1inch hole in PS cabin floor. I am pretty sure I will find a little more as well but all else seems solid. Has not run for about 30 years. Everything is original except the ext mirrors. Even still has the cargo door restraining belt. Cargo floor has seen a lot of work but no rust. Biggest prob is getting all screws and nuts to move! Happy to get advice on rusted screws. Thanks&Cheers.

My paint looked the same as yours when I found it. It'll come up a treat.

Soak the bolts etc with WD40 or similar, heat then usually makes a difference, take things slowly and allow things to soak, repeat, soak repeat and then try. Add a little heat on the stubborn stuff...should work, take your time and you'll get there.

Super looking project.
