returning to splitty ownership

Post by stcos85 »

Hi again,
sold my 15 window a couple of years ago and always regretted it.

looked for another one but prices have shot up so couldnt afford a running one. Finally found a 59 15 window in Canada in need of some serious resto.

Due to arrive next and really looking forward to collecting it.

It has some damage to the B post on the drivers side and needs a new long panel. any ideas locally where I might be able to get those parts

Congrats on your purchase.

Das Resto Parts and The Bus Stop are two good local options.

Got to see it in the flesh or whats left of it this week. Its far worse than I thought and none of the doors closed. The person I bought it off gave me lots of photos, I knew one of the b pillars was an issue but wasn't informed the other had similar problems.

it was supposed to come with an engine which wasnt there and none of the trim came with it. when I contacted the seller he said I wouldn't have liked the engine so didn't fit it. I am seeking legal advice on this but hopefully I will collect it early next week and it will be straight off to the panel shop to be straightened.

looks like I will be chasing down lots of parts as it is basically a rusty shell. fortunately its a high hinge 15 window delux so it is a rare bus
