Hello from Adelaide.

Post by 1958kafer »

Hi all, I'm currently restoring a 63 bus. I have experience in restoring beetles and currently own a few but this is my first bus. I will try and post progress pics so you can all follow my progress and maybe help me along the way. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Cheers Steve

Nice work Steve, do you have the grey ratty oval? Where in Adelaide are you?

Cheers mate, had the usual rust. I'm a bit further on from this now. I'll start a build thread. Yes long vents.

I love that oval, it looks amazing. I’m in Bellevue heights, the Adelaide crew is slowly becoming more active so we will have to have a local catch up soon. Post up some bus updates when you have some.

Thanks Matt, I'll start a build thread. Let me know if you organise a catch up. Would be good.
