The starting point.. 11 window

This ones been blasted back to bare metal to reveal all truth.

Am concerned about the roof rust above the gutters. From the inside, there's nearly more daylight that roof.

At what point is a shell "too far gone", or deemed, "unfixable" ?

Been watching your threads Jack, to get clues for the progress!

Lining up Elton for a site visit, to see if he can sell me some roof panels to sort the issues around the roof. 8)

Besides the roof Grant, looks pretty good...

We'll meet up and check it out in the flesh.

Cheers...Elton

Doing that.

Had Elton's professional eye take a good look today, and it seems that this bus is able to rejoin the ranks of the "registerd & roadworthy", with some work.

Positive news!

Elton is on the case!

Yes, roof is fixable, as is a few lower sills.

Why I asked in the first post about its "restorability", was because I for one, thought it looked fixable, after reading and seeing all the pics here at DSK, but a few people in the trade, have looked at this bus, and given some advice that just didn't gel!

Thanks all for your positive comments, and again thanks to "Greenbus" for the assessment, and we'll move forward, and I'll keep you up to date with pics of the progress.

Cheers
