Yeah Turquoise, although I did have it made slightly lighter so it matches in with the old paint, the paint place actually labeled it as a early Holden colour, it’s all about the look and not the authenticity on this Frankenute

Painted the engine bay today, I got a few customarily runs, and got more paint on me than the Ute, but in the end it’s painted, nothing stopping me from putting an engine in it now, that could be next

Bloody hell. Didn’t think you’d do it that soon, we only chatted about painting under the tray on Tuesday afternoon

Seems to be a similar theme to all the buses you build in which I like.....The Stance 8)

Nice work

Thanks Linz, finally someone who understands what I think it’s all about , for me it starts with the wheels, the ride height, and how the wheels tuck underneath, don’t really care about the cosmetics, but it must drive right, clean and new inside. That’s what it’s about, you can keep your OG, NOS, period correct, not for me. And I think I am the only person who sees a burnt out car on the TV and think it looks cool . I’ll get this going and drive the shit out of it. Ian

Yeah... I like that ethos!

I think I accidentally converted to your non-NOS/period correct/OG philosophy a few years ago but was ashamed and hid it from public. You have inspired me Ian to find strength in my conversion and to be proud of what I did which I’d previously thought were mistakes.

Yeah mate it’s your bus! The only mistake I ever see is having it in your garage for the last 10 years because you are waiting on the exact parts to show up, life’s too short, get them going, let the next owner worry about the correctness. In the end they will be arguing with the nurse at the counter of my retirement home, with me yelling from my bedroom ( which reminds me of another dad Quote)

Bogging the side, I thought I had better put a picture up so you are not arguing with the nurse
