Make sure they are rated at least 50 watts or they will fry. You probably need ceramic resistors mounted on a heatsink.

Looking good.

I can get it local ! I did notice yesterday the place at Golden Beach has now closed ..thats a real shame as they were good guys in there.

I think there's an Aus version of Tandy down there, somewhere around Beachbeat.

Nothing old about Tandy. Down in deepest darkest Cornwall they're still in every town. Strange that they used to sell mercury tilt switches though|

We had Tandy in the 80's in the main drag Caloundra and then I think Dick smith took over Tandy and Radio shack etc.

More done today.

Shockers in, clutch cable in and sorted the adjustment, electrics all done now, steering wheel and parcel shelf back in, all sorted and actually drove it out the shed under it's own steam today, albeit with no steering wheel or throttle cable set up so just testing the gear selector and clutch cable adjustment.
Did feel good to see it actually moving under it's own steam...waited a long time for that...feels so close to finish now but still lots to do..

Very hot in that shed again today ..so my thanks again to Steve for sticking it out, I even let him have the 1st drive...all 3 metres of it !

Forever forward...
