Where exactly did you get the 15-window from, mate?
The USA?
It's a LHD, correct?
And what's with the "fried-egg" indicators?
I thought all 15-windows were bullet or semaphore jobbies.
Plenty of rust there for ya.

It's my fault.

This is the toaster I imported but could do nothing with.

Already (as I knew I would) I am regretting letting it go. Not that I could have done much with it.

Good to see it happening Chris. I am sure the pain for me will wear off when I get a bus on the road.

Yeah I know.

Based on advice from experts which took into account my budget, timeframe and skills (all zero).

Perfect for someone that can do it (part or all) themselves but not a great one for someone desperate to get a bus on the road with no skills and very little dough.

I know I could have held onto it until I had the money but I have waited 4 years for a bus and was not willing to prolong that any further. I also had nowhere to store it.

I am really glad to see Chris pulling it together. Can't wait to see it on the road... actually can't wait to see it as I never have even laid eyes on it.

I can see your point.
I sat on my '67 panel for about 7 years.
Mind you, if you had ever clapped eyes on it I think you would've fought tooth and nail to keep it.
My panel lived at a friend's garage for 18 months and in that time I had no burning feeling to put it on the road even though I checked in on it every now and again.
Once we bought our own place with our own garage to store it my sons went and played in it all the time and every time I unlocked the garage to take them in there my heart sank to think it was just sitting there.
The wife felt the same way and that was what spurred us on to put it on the road.
Hell, we even went into debt!

Yeah debt... aint it great. It's stupid I will end up old and feable with plenty of cash but none right now.

I wonder if I could put my deceased estate on eBay now?

Sorry Sketty... back to the bus.

I'll tell ya, it's just as well I paid off my HECS debt last year.
Now I get a little bonus which cause I overpaid.
The missus is expecting #3 in October so we also get the baby bonus....$5k at last memory.
That should put a dent in the loan! ;)
As far as old feeble with cash.....not if you like buses, mate!! :D
