el concreto in rehab drying out

Post by kombibob »

some of you probably know the evil things i am doing to el concreto.

included will be rack and pinion steering and disk brakes.
cooling will be a treasure chest mounted radhousing with air comming from the high roof vents.

the only cutting will be a little timming off the rear valance and a hole in the treasure chest floor and air channel. the metal i cut out of the floor will be used to repair other holes in the treasure chest floor. ha ha

from the out side there should be no sign of the conversion, and will be very easy to take back to stock, what ever that is?

Good onya I say , nothing like a little late tech put into old classics (no matter what make of car) makes them more usable for todays conditions specially if your going to be using them consistantly .

took today off work to start cutting!!
cut the opening in the floor and in the air channel, will have to seal off the air channel after the cut so air is directed through the radiator only.
now i have to make up a frame to hold the rad and enclose it with a opening door to service the fan.
i also trimmed up the rear valance.
