Great work Al, that's a very good excuse for not being at the shop when I rang.

Can't wait to see it on the 19th.

Wow, great stuff.
The way that bus was rolling it reminds me of the "Chub City" toys you could get from Kmart.
That's a good thing, btw.
Big wheels, low profile rubber all tucked under the guards and shiny paint.
That has to be the coolest thing you've built yet, Al.

Since we are still running Armando's bus around sorting out any niggles and tuning tweaks (and also finally finished the audio now Pioneer's new headunit became available after a 3 month delay)....I decided to take it to the KMT Autorama (custom/classic car show here on the Gold Coast). Weather held off today with only intermittent showers so fortunately there was still a pretty good showing of cars, here is only a small selection:

Some 'completed' shots of Armando's bus:

Forgot to put the screws back in this morning since we've been playing around with the head unit wiring....has gps with live traffic updates, auto reverse camera, plus the usual audio antics you'd expect of any head unit nowadays.

Some other shots you've probably already seen sorry

Picked up car of the show (I'm sure a few of the mega dollar muscle car boys would have been a little disgruntled!) and best interior, pretty stoked given the high calibre of cars around.

Hopefully next year will see better weather and even better attendance figures.

PS yes Armando will have his bus very soon! Fortunately for us he's been renovating and hasn't had a garage to house the bus so we've been in 'go-slow' mode for a while now :)

Stunning work!

Can I ask where the bus pressed steel card holder came from?

I've seen early 911 and 356 versions but not the bus.......

Card holder was from Vintage Speed. I bought it in the US last year but assume if VS still stocks them, they could send one over.
