so your really looking at a new floor then ... wow that's new. I'd fix the floor, replace the mechanics, as it's gotta come out anyway. Treat the outside and leave it as it is. Maybe just clear it...looks great as it is.

Don't worry about us, do what makes you happy and what is best for your bus :)
