Yeah yeah I know, I would love to have it dragging it's arse and nose on the ground but I also want to be able to drive it.
Have the creative rack & pinion in the van and would struggle to have a steering box set-up (especially this one with 180 degrees free play).
Think the red9 will be a good compromise of ride, ride height, brakes and steering

Just did a deal with Al @ Das Resto and have bought (pending payment) the 2442cc turbo engine he had built for his own use.
According to Al it can put out between 200-300bhp dependant on boost which is more than the last Gen3 V8 I had, that should be interesting!
The down side is due to funding limitations we are still a way off from getting the DC on the road but I'm over the moon with the new donk
For engine details have a look in "Parts for Sale"

ByronBus,
Two reasons why I can't do that.....
1. The wife still thinks the dc is hers so she might start asking questions when it's no longer in the garage
2. When it's finished I can die a happy man as (hopefully) it will be MY perfect splitty
Thanks for the offer anyway
PS when it's done and we drive it back from Al's we can drop in to Byron and you can take it for a spin

Tony,
A pleasure to be of assistance, only too glad to help.
It's the wifes birthday on Friday so I went home yesterday and greeted her with "Hi babe, guess what I've got you for your birthday!" she took it suprisingly well.
Happy to offer rides when complete.

Thanks mate, very happy. More turboed lefties is what we need! (Matty where are you??????)
Gearbox doesn't suit red9 rear end other wise I would have grabbed the complete package
