the bus looks great. it is good to see it on the road. I am damian Camplin that bought some hinges off you a number of years ago for the cargo doors and engine lid on my 61 ute. Just a question pete. do you have any complete 1200 split motors including tinware and exhaust? I have a short motor but need everthing else to rebuild it.

cheers damian
Hi damian
Thanks will have a look what I have got and get back to you soon

Such a sweet thing. Congrats. Another restoed Turkis. Surely there's enough for a Turkis Club now. DTGSK (it is Turkis yeah)?

I love the rear tail light/indicator pairing. I reckon VW peaked in the style race with them and bullet indicators on the front make it the perfect combination.

A big thanks to Dave had a couple of brews, a great afternoon, we are looking forward to being a part of the wedding. We have known Alex Damen for many years, his 13 window is great. We will be travelling in convoy. Will post lots of pics. We are doing another wedding in October with Michael.
Cheers

That does look very tidy. They are a nice wheel. You don't see them with whitewalls too often. Jeez Peter that bus is nice. So do the wheels come off after the wedding?

Wheels

Post by splitsaviour »

Hi Brad
Yes unfortunately have to give the wheels back to Dave, so it'll be back to the mangels, for now anyway. It is very kind of Dave and Bonnie to lend us the wheels. Look forward to catching up with you next year.
