Any progress is good progress mate. Looking good.
Chasing any Neiman steering lock parts, will consider anything.

Got some extra motivation back after the weekend in Lorne.

Beam is almost done. Bump stop location moved down slightly to ensure the bump stop contacts with the most amount of surface area. Adjustable steering stops, steering dampener bracket fabricated to almost match an original. Shocks spaced and setup.

Early beam or late beam Rusty? How much did you narrow it?. If it rides too stiff I have had great results by taking out the smallest leaves or just cut them so they don’t go in the centre adjuster. ( I can see Matt shaking his head right now) but trust me it works, the more you shorten the leaves the stiffer it rides

2.5” total Ian, the beam is a 61 but the arms and spindles are from a 64 beam. Good tip, I’ll keep that in mind

Front nose stripped and into epoxy. Also starting to sort out some imperfections on the long panel

Thanks Linz, I’m pretty sure OG setup had steering stops at the spindles. These become useless when you flip the spindles. Once mine are dialled in they won’t change unless tyre/wheel changes

Interesting day yesterday. Had a small visitor come into the shed to inspect the body work. Scared the shit out of me. 2ft brown snake. Can see in the dust where it came in and nearly came between my legs
