Good job on the jig rusty. A whole roof is a big job, keep at it.

Plan is to spot weld and use the panel adhesive that you can spot weld through

Rear hatch has been removed. A few stubborn screws which were removed by building up with weld and welding a long bolt to them. Then they were easily removed with a socket and ratchet

Finished of the bracing on the bus today. The last section was a cross brace at the rear hatch and one more under the roof to stop any twist or distortion...

Started removing the roof today. Original plan was to attempt removing it in one piece but that was going to be a lot more work and not worth it as the roof is very stretched and not worth repairing.

The rear roof bow was creased in many spots so I cut this out and will be replacing it.

I have been able to inspect the gutters better this way, and there is more then what I was expecting to be repaired and replaced. This being rust and previous owners attacking it with hammers

Yeah. That’d have to be a lot more comfortable to work with. Great head start

That’s a great photo! But once parts of the gutter is removed they flex out of shape and become flimsy, especially at the rear hatch and above the cargo doors where they are vulnerable. I just wanted to make sure it all went back together as it was
