Repaired the rust on the lower edge of the windscreen/dash edge. Made the repair pieces a little bit higher and that allowed me to carefully linish the edge back...

Front on this weekend mate? Coming along nicely, I’m impressed with your attention to details and patience, great to see how it’s all coming together

Thanks Ian, front is now on and feel like things are moving in the right direction. I also cut and shut the bullet indicator mounts as the KF nose had them pointing in the air a little. Didn't get pics of this though...

Outer valance welded in place....
Image

Trial fit to see how it lines up...
Image

Wiper holes didn't line up from the lower windscreen so these required cutting and moving. Forgot to get picks of this process other then this one...
Image

Lower windscreen lined up and plug welded from the back and headlight buckets welded in...
Image
Image

Made these jigs before pulling the nose off. Got the idea after seeing Ian use Coopers. Used them to help line everything up and get the windscreen gap dialed in...
Image

Welded and grinding...
Image
Image

Edges plug welded and folded around to finish off the sides...
Image
Image

Rolled it over to plug weld the bottom edge from underneath...
Image

Used this door skinning tool to crimp the side and bottom flanges. It did a really neat job...

Where did you get that tool from? I used the old hammer and dolly method and my forearm was on fire. Wouldn’t mind giving it a pass with one of them for insurance.

Some more work completed on the front wheel tubs. Filling in the gaps and getting ready to fab the lower front seat belt mounts. Will be recreating the factory style mounts..
