Front bumper rust repair. Stripped and primed. The dogleg bumper brackets didn't line up, so I drilled out the spot welds and removed them. Discovered some surface rust under these which was dealt with before rewelding.

Looking good Rusty, that’s going to be one very solid bus when your finished with it. Attention to detail is top shelf

Great work as always mate. That don’t forget to double check the hinge inner mount for cracks.

Fast and clean as always mate. Did you replace that inner piece where the window frame bolts? I ended up making it because I couldn’t find a solid donor.

Cheers Matt, Yeah the donor section I used still had the window frame strengthening mount/inner piece. Gave it a sandblast and it was in really good condition.

Trial fit of an engine to ensure correct alignment...

Buttysbits intermediate mount brackets welded in place. Forgot to get a photo of it bolted in but can be seen in photo of oil cooler install in this post.

Heater tube sandblasted and rust holes repaired...

Oil cooler mounting. Managed to get this up higher then my first attempt and is now level with the cross members and has clearance for the cables and shift rod. I have made steel lines with barbed ends that have been silver soldered on by a local engineer. Still some refining but happy with the installation. Big thanks to Champ for the information and photos which helped me through this process.
