I think I have my booster mounting all worked out, hopefully I can get a day in the shed soon to sort it out. Thought I'd post some pics of my beam. I was always going to build myself a narrowed beam but with time as tight as it is I decided to farm out the job. I sent my beam down south for the Wiz to work some of that magic of his. The end plates came from Kuch and have 3 degrees of caster built into them. Much to his disgust I had Wiz use my OG beam tubes rather than new tubes so I could keep my early spindles and the CSP disc kit I purchased ages ago.

The Wiz came up with a way to use the original bump stops on the narrowed beam so no scrubbing for me and I get to keep that original beam number on there 8) .

Once the Wiz had done his work, the beam and my OG bushes went to Champ at Aircooled Antics to fit and ream the bushes. To fit these properly you need the right factory tools and I only know two people with all the gear. There is a bloke here in Adelaide but he doesn't like me very much   . Thankfully Champ was happy to unbox the factory kit and sort it out.

Bushings installed with the OG drift

I had a really nice set of trailing arms that had very little wear, Champ gave them a clean up anyway just to make sure the were true

Reaming the bushes out to match the diameter of the freshly turned trailing arms

So the beam is sitting in the garage tight as a drum and ready to go when I (finally) finish the shit I have to do.

It’s not easy doing a house extension only using OG materials Brad. Give the guy a break.

House extension taking priority at the moment gents. I don't realistically see much happening for 4-6 months unfortunately. Family stuff>bus work unfortunately.

Need to make room for you and Bianca when you come down for visits Brad.

It would be a great time to send it out to be painted, while the house is getting done

Any progress Matt? Asking for a friend. Life is short and this is a long build thread.

It’s a looooong build I’m aware. No progress, doing a big home reno. Got another 6 months of work on the house then I have permission to take some leave and get this thing finished.
