Yes Wiz painted next year but all booked in with them THIS year so dont even start with me . Everyone has a bit of a wait but that’s cool I’ll finish up the engine tin, paint interior cards and seat frames etc while I’m waiting.

I decided I couldn’t justify the $$$, I didn’t get some massive payout from the taxpayers after successfully raising revenues for 20 years

After chatting with the missus about how much work I've pumped into the house over the last 2 years I've managed to book another 4 weeks of leave just for the bus. Had to take it in 1 week and 3 week blocks but should be able to make another huge leap on this thing starting March.

Engine is nearly ready to take back to Champ for break in and tune, just waiting on parts.

I've been pretty busy over the last couple of months starting up my own business. Sneb told me utes are a 100% tax write off if you have a business.... and I want a DC  . If anyone knows a Radiographer or Sonographer who wants to make some REALLY good cash send them to my new website radiologyrelief.com.au

Hey mate I would like some REALLY good cash, put me down for that job, I learn very quickly, taught myself how to weld , probably not one of those jobs where you learn by your mistakes but hey I would give it a good shot
There’s probably a YouTube channel that would tell me what a radiologist does

Yep, counting down. Got some of the boys coming round to help me sand the interior/engine bay to get that in primer then back to work for a fortnight and then 3 more weeks off.

Huge thanks to Big Dave, Mick, Brooksy and a few non VW mates. Managed to strip the whole interior and some of the engine bay today ready for rust conversion and epoxy this week. shit day to be in the garage, it was hot and humid but we pumped it out and then had a few beers. I really appreciate the help guys.

5 guys sanding/cleaning with thinners for a few hours was massive. I’ll treat all the surface rust tomorrow and get in epoxy later this week.

Yes mate very lucky to have the help. shit of a job and unfortunately it was a bit warm in the shed, a few favours are owed for sure.

Got the whole interior metal treated today, wax and grease remover tomorrow morning then mask and spray in the arvo.

Masking always takes longer than I think it will. Didn’t get to colour today but epoxy is all on.

Aiming for the faux primer on the roof and sides where it’s not body colour tomorrow. Just using the same colour as I did underneath as I have enough left over.
