Little work done on it today.

Removed the rest of the screws from the pillars.

Finished the door section with the repair piece.

Just need to clean up the welds on that.

Doing a trial with the selector and hanger bracket. Repaired the original ones, but would still like some other ones as backups in case these ones don’t work too well.
Made a repair part for the hanger.

Thanks guys. Been 7 years so far so thought it needs to get started on repairing the bits, not just cutting and collecting parts.

“Final” product on to door screw area. Red oxide primered. Will prob get some sand green on it later.

Ha! All good nick. I’m happy with the result. I’m building it for me, not for show or anyone else. Trying to make parts if I can.

Very slow on the front, even in corona times. Found some bits for it. Nothing special but pretty neat.
Reproduction fat base arms, original mirrors and another 6v horn that actually works!! (Thanks stealthy)

Looking good mate. I know you’re going super OG but if you’re hanger doesn’t work consider one of these, way better than any of the OG set ups and will outlast us both.

I’ve seen that, not sure how it would go. U heard any feedback? There’s also the other sprung ones on the rods also that will be updated

I bought one and it fits like a glove. In theory should be amazing, no lateral movement at all at the front and it will last for ever.
