Bruce, yep, checked and it's March 54

Mark, that would look real good to have a right ratty line up..

It won't be that long ( read a couple of years ) and there will be a full set from 54 - 67 on the coast I reckon, not far short anyways ..

I stripped the underseal of my ghia pans rcently. I used a Heat gun & scraper then meths to clean up and many many rags. Its amazing how good underseal works, I wish it was underneath my van.
[quote="Ian 68]Thanks mate..bottom 6 as usual but the underside has been coated in some tar like coating so she's solid as underneath..

Back into the shed yesterday to tackle a job I really wasn't looking forward to doing.

I wanted to drill all the spot welds but they were masked by some gunky shite that I couldn't even grind out as it went and clogged the wheel so out with the slitting discs, straight edges, marker pens, bloster and big hammer...

Very very hot in the shed yesterday, I was drinking about 1.5 L of water an hour maybe more, real hot but got it out in the end..

Decided to have a go at the lovely layers of paint over the dash , doors and just about everywhere else !!

Started with this ..

Hours and hours later I have this ( as well as a very sore back, shagged out knees and as for my fingers after all that rubbing with 0000 wire wool Ahhh )

A few more hours tomorrow and it'll look much better, think the worst of it came off today....
