I picked up a set of vito 16'' rims im going to need to do a few slight mods on the rear and get suitable tires but they should look good for the moment. Ill paint them either black, white or a white blue kombo.

It's 6mm hard wood ply from bunnings thicker than I had planned but the thinner stuff has lots of nots in it and looked too much like a backyard skate ramp. With a few coats of estapol.

looks great love the ply and all the rustic touches evan can't wait to get back to work on mine. i am glad most of my welding is finished on mine. rims are sweet i went for old merc alloys though had to grind out a small amount for the drum retaining nuts.

Thanx guys. Heard yours is close to being done Dave? Id like to call over sometime The badge had 2 broken threaded rods so I decided to drill it. I had the bolts in my stash they are a thread with a square section under the smooth head that holds it from spinning so I used my dremel to make a square hole in the badge should look good with some surface rust over time I'm really trying to make do with what iv got. The steering wheel I got from classic veedub just an aftermarket wheel a common choice in oz really. Getting serious in the next few months.
