been chasing a splitty for quite some time now and finally got my hands on a 15 window splitty after selling my bay and using it to fund this project , the rust is pretty bad and lots of panels will need to be replaced but im sure with some tlc she will come up alright
this is my first split so any tips and advice would be great
thanks

Hey Jacob I had a look on google earth I would be less than 400 m away as the crow flies.
We may have the highest 15 window ownership densities in Australia!

i would fab the lower section first then once thats been welded in cut out the side of it and plate that , i would do it that way so you get the correct curve of the chassis ..weld the bulkhead in first to get strength back into it

Also support chassis evenly from underneath to ensure everything is level and square before you start cutting and welding..

Work from the bottom up..

Good luck and enjoy the journey..
