Looks like no rust work needed, engine and gearbox from a beetle I bought will be going in, 68 front end with disk brakes, IRS rear end, shiny paint job and a noice interior :)

Great news Steve. Been waiting to see this one start. And no, I haven't had time to touch mine before you ask!!! The "other" one is in for a pink slip next week. Should be all good hopefully....

Getting some work done out Annangrove way then ill be looking for someone to paint it. Saw you cruising up pittwater road the other day, the panel is looking good after its Queensland holiday !

Looks really good. I am doing the same at the moment. My one is a 58 (the old Granny from MEL). Tomorrow I will start to strip the paint. I am looking as well for a good painter. I am in Byron Bay.

Started on the underneath, a few repairs needed but still very happy with the condition. Bit of crap collected over time
