Re: My 15
UPDATE! The following is the last heap of posts all in one so bere with..
im parting out the metal work.. ive had a guy round and he is going to take on the job
I've just sold my boat too so the next step is to get a cert guy round as he will need to advise me on what's required.. mainly seat belts in the rear and the whole going low stuff..
Basically to get it legal all things like chassis mods and upgrades need to be signed off, to get these guys involved at the beginning makes sound sense.
Ive had the "recommended" cert guy call me back, he has retired so cant help! and another has been suspended, so that leaves one guy in Auckland, and, he no doubt will be run off his feet >:( blah! not a good start.
Two weeks give or take before my resto guy can take my bus..
Bus has been hauled up to a resto guy here in Akd called Mike..
opped over to Mikes place today to drop some bits i forgot about... like a door hinge ::)
Also got some progress pics..
So remember that twisted strength bar that got squished after last haul of the bus..
It got sorted and re fitted
My A post section was a bit small so Mike knocked one up.
A wee mock up
Bit more progress by Mike..
This section was a patch straight ontop of a rotten hole.
Both dog legs are now in too.
B post removed
Then he eyed up the cheap front panel.
Some work needed on this :-\
So remember that shitty patch job..
Well my repair piece wasnt quite tall enough..
Also my bus has fixing points in the B post for 3 point belts, since this new Klssifab post doesn't then one got added.

Whats the master plan? Paint? Interior? etc etc
Keep the updates coming
Matty
Plans! they change but have remained the same for a good while now. hahaha
Yup my wheels are Porker phonedails and they are already painted white, the whole bus will be the same white then the lower half will be a mat brown colour.. either paint or wrapped?
The interior will have a full width rock n roll and a removable kitchen type setup.. in front a full width flip flip seat ( which is on cad and to be built) Subject to it being certified?
I have all deluxe trim to fit also.
