New Member - New Project, way out my comfort zone!

Just purchased this yesterday evening. Been looking awhile. Rust in all the usually places, way out of my comfort zone!
Pic-up in a couple of weeks.

Anybody in Gippsland doing a similar resto? (I need help, or meds!)

Not even sure what year? I assume late 60's Aussie kombi?

Was this the eBay one?
Its complete and that's always the best I recon.
Indicators and handles say late 60s but twin vents and larger rear wheel arch says one of the last in production. ;)

Welcome mate. Enjoy the ride!!

Picked the bus up yesterday!
Chassis No. 237055238 any idea on model & year.
Also noticed a couple of interesting things in the engine bay.

Dual carbies on single port motor & a distributor made by Treuhatt - performance parts from the 60's?

Anybody got any ideas on these engine goodies?

Agree 67. If u have another set of vents behind those scoops then it's definite. Enjoy the resto :D

Hi Terry,

Nice project you got there. Looks like your going to have to strip it all back to find out what lays beneath. How did you get on with the Ute? Two projects at the same time... WOW! Your going to be a busy man in 2014.

So that's what the bull bars look like. Let me know when your ready to take it to Melbourne .

Cheers
M
