yep your right cargo doors will not fit, best to keep looking for those as it would way to much time to try and convert them to a high hinge. Even when you get the right ones they still are going to give you a hard time lining them all up.

The only thing with the front doors I can tell that is different is the area around the handles , not 100$ sure but I think the earlys don't have the recess ?

Excellent (sort of) at least I know to keep looking. I have been looking at splitty pics on Google, i just cant spot the difference on the front door handles, if anyone can post pics to show me the difference that would be great.

Appreciate your help :)

Awesome, so my car being pre 61 would be the blue style, not the red so withe the finger scallop but not for the actual handle?

Now I see the difference, this door would be correct

But the one i bought a little while back is not correct, which is a pity as its in fairly good condition.

yep correct the flat ones are the go, you could always fill that indentation in but not with filler apart from that they should be the same;)
Rick at clayton may have high hinge doors too

Really appreciate your help mate, looks like its the start of a bit of an investigative journey,I guess that's half the fun. I have just tried calling Rick and left a message, lets see how that goes. At least I am starting to get a better understanding of exactly what i am looking for. I am not intending to do a concours restoration, but I would like to keep as much as possible period correct.

Hi mate not sure about the rego number but probably not. But thought I would share some pics of where it was originally found in the same wreckers that I got one of mine from. Feel free to come round and have a look at my collection im up in Gawler East.
Cheers Cooper
