Can only assume it was a factory friday arvo stamping error that got through the quality control inspectors

Or was it for a grease nipple on the pedal cluster? I think my old ute had one I can't remember..

Killer job so far tho!!!!

I think this hole used to line up with a grease nipple on the drag link to steering box ball joint, you had to turn the steering to line it up

G'day Ted, got an ETA? Assume you're going shiny, what colour, mods etc?
I'm in Canberra too. Going to German Autofest?

G'day Tony,

It wasn't my intention to go shiny. Simply had no choice after discovering minimal original paint as a result of a few accidents. Not sure on colour as yet. Pretty standard running gear - IRS, L Bug box, 1916, adjustable ball joint beam, boosted disks up front. Hoping to get it finished around the end of next year. Will probably take the SC for a run to Autofest as a spectator. Here's a pic of where my DC is currently at.

Cheers

John

Picked up a set of NOS side gates a few years earlier which made the fit that much better.
