Hi Steve

The VS exhaust is good although it does has a bit of a whistle when the engine is cold. I suspect once it has a few kays on it, it might stop but I still like it and its a nice subtle look with a good sound.

Thanks Chris it's got a big road trip coming up so hopefully its ready!

Hey Jono

Basically leaving Darwin mid October and heading to Townsville and then follow the coast down to be in Adelaide at Christmas time. That about the extent of the plan at this stage, just going to wing it and not plan much, just follow my nose.

Got some long service leave to use and can't bloody wait!

Nearly there on getting through the to-do list before the road trip kicks off in three weeks.

I've swapped the funky steering wheel back to a stock one with a cover, and also swapped out the orange fog lights for spots.

Also pulled apart the flap in the airbox and renewed the rubbers in the hope that it might help to keep water out when it rains but it doesn't seem to have made much difference! I might try pulling out the safaris and running a bead of silicone across the hinge to see if that does anything but if anyone else has any other suggestions I'm all ears.

I've been trying to rack up some k's on the old girl before hitting the road and managed to find a good storm to test how water tight she is. Lucky there was a pub nearby as the water was pissing in while I was driving!
