Sanding becomes a drag, I know Masters sell wide range of sandpaper so should Bunnings. Could also use green scotch pads from woolworths although can be harsh and leave deeper scratches. I'm located on the south Coast but up and around Sydney pretty often

Apparently t's a tractor colour.. I would have painted it an original VW colour if I had the choice.. But it still looks ok... maybe in the coming years

Finally finished sanding .. Cut and polished all panels, so now for the assembly.. Just some pictures to tell the story of progress.. Love a solid weekends work!

Next to tackle the seals and windows.. Waiting for some parts to arrive next week.

Thanks!

Still a bit to go, but definitely a lot closer, Julian should be getting the engine back in.. Eager to get it under its own power, my back is sore from pushing It :shock:

Is it an import or has the roof been changed
Either way I prefer the early look, nice yoot
it’s got nuffin to do wiv yer “vor sprung Durch technic” ya know!

I actually have no idea? Need to get a birth certificate... I don't think the roof has been changed.. What's different about the roof that makes it look early?

Aussie made Utes made from about 63 are known as hi roofs as they had a 2nd roof on top to create an air scoop above the windscreen to feed air to the motor. Also no side vents to the engine bay
