Number plate light today, I used an LED strip, folded up a bit of aluminium. I did this because I cut the top part of the engine lid off and made it flat, I can get away with it because 1958 had a flat lid, anyway I like it and that’s all that matters. Ian

Does the job nicely Wiz.
Have got a stash of those ‘SVW’ number plates? I tried soooo many variations but couldn’t get anything decent.

Got it registered today, numbers check and pay the money, got to love the SA way, no rwc, now to get it to drive nice and off to Portland for a test drive next week end, have got to say I love the brakes, they are from Type E Motorsports , Camaro ventilated disc with a Chev brake caliper, 67 dual master cyl, great pedal feel . The plates I kept from my brothers Ute, And because they are personal style plates I was allowed to transfer them to the Cubby Hut. I haven’t been drinking alcohol but had to have one Beer tonight to celebrate, Woohoo, I’ve got a splitty to drive again! Ian

Shane finally got a chance to pick up his bus, I sold this to him 3 years ago, long before I had finished welding it up and painting it. I have been driving it since March and with Covid happening it’s been near impossible to pick it up, he wanted to drive it home and meet me as well, because in the 3 years we have only talked on the phone or text each other. He went the long way home via Renmark, Mildura, Echuca, Wagga Wagga, back to Canberra. I hope to catch up with him again next when we head to Valla
