Suggest this bus can’t have a surf board on the roof rack but must have an ironing board

If you run out of ironing boards, I’ve got one in the shed you can have.

Backrest of front seat is rebuilt
If I’m honest it turned into a bit of a high school project with high tensile wire been used too patch up broken/ rusted out springs
But I don’t reakon I’ll be thinking about that when I’m passing commodore’s on the fwy

Nailed it mate, what you using on the bottom seat, I have used ply and foam instead of the springs before in both my brothers Ute and all the rear seats in the cubby hut, and I actually think they are more comfortable, sometimes a mixture of density foam is required to get the right feel

Tonight’s progress
Welded new tabs and spikes on seat base
And repairs and mods of seat springs to fit new shape of base, even managed to weld up a broken spring

Oh Yeah, looks like I have missed a page, forget what I said, carry on, I think I might have to get checked for early onset of Altziemers, ( see I have even forgot how to spell it, I hope that’s right). Anyway sometimes it is good to forget about things, especially how much we have spent!

Good work mate, cab doors are a pain in the arse. Pull that inner handle off before the sparks start flying, i know its ratty but that pot metal melts VERY easy.
