Looks great Ian. Can't wait to see it on the road. Who makes the brakes you are using?

I have put these brakes together using a chev disc and caliper, made my own caliper bracket to suit the Empi drop spindles and got the chev to Porsche adapter from Brian at Type E Motorsports’s , I have some of Brian’s Wide Five discs on the Cubby Hut and they are awesome, back brakes are late beetle with a Porsche pattern drum, and the drums have a step in them to locate the 944 wheel spacers I am using to fit the Fuch Wheels ( all engineered of course  )

Fuchs are played out but not much of them will be visible on this slammed bus anyway
Chasing any Neiman steering lock parts, will consider anything.

I had a look around E motor sports website. Doesn't seem to have anything in stock?

Yeah he’s been on holidays and just had to do 10 days quarantine, I got a email from him this morning and he said he would be back at work tomorrow, I guess he did the out of stock thing so he wouldn’t get orders while he was away. I got the bus back on wheels tonight but I need to raise the back, it’s in the garage stuck on the floor jack, will reset the spring plates tomorrow

Yeah mate come on down, I’ll have a spare hard hat, hiviz vest and steel cap boots put aside for you, there will be a 20 minute site induction that includes workcover rules, oh and I have to see your white card, but other than that all good, love having visitors

At the moment the cradle is 120mm off the ground, if I lift the shock mounts up I can get it all 120 off the ground , brick is 110mm

Painted 2 of my “ played out Fuchs “ said by a man who once said he liked Rostyles, and the room went silent. Anyway they are genuine 15 x6, that I bought in the late 80’s, for the front I have some repo 15x5.5

🤣😂 Brilliant! Guessing the hard hat is for something else in your shed. Nothing would be falling off the bus! Its all already on the ground!...
Looks great , but I have to say I am also partial to Rostyles.😁

. I also cut the bottom stop off so I can drop the spring plates down enough to get the wheels on, still have to take the bottom shocker bolt out, I will make up a removable stop so the wheels don’t drop too far and damage the CV joints

Looking forward to seeing this one driving down the road and more importantly the smile on your face.

Don’t forget you can use the hoist anytime.
