Roof was smashed in badly and I removed the fresh air vent to smash it out , I didn’t replace it, Beattes says he just uses his rear safari on his Ute, so that’s what I will do, I left the screws in, might swap them out for some large pop rivets, gives it a bit of aircraft feel

Thanks Big Dave, there’s enough room up there for 2 bottles of Red, room on the passenger side for Bikkies and enough room in the drivers side for an assortment of cheeses, should be ready for Elder Park in November

Here’s something that always ends up biting you on the arse , if you put a IRS in a Splitty sometimes the clutch rod is too long, and the shaft is larger so swapping over your old clutch rod is impossible, so you have to cut it and weld it back together. If you don’t do this you end up having not enough travel in your clutch pedal

You’ll have that blended in no time.
I’m definitely having you around when I paint my 73 SC, you’ve mastered putting on colour.

Trying to make it look older, had a go at it by spraying some paint on the outside after I rubbed it back , still got the treasure chest door to do

Yes, that's looking blended from this end. Nice work.
Having a Non Patina machine currently, I imagine driving a Ratty bus that has had a resto under the wool would be very satisfying especially when telling non VDubbers that it's actually been restored
