Spent a couple of hours in the shed as its Monday night.

Removed some floor and sil to access the chassis. Starting to get to a couple of the problem areas now.

I think I got about 5kgs of sand out of the box sections, packed solid! Probably just raised it a couple of inches

I was thinking about your Barn weekend and a kombi run around the landscape….. then in dawned on me, how about a tour of all the stalled SA projects sitting in peoples garages?

Well I got a LH dogleg skin from the Wiz and as my bus has 4 piece doglegs I thought I’d have a go at making my own. I also have a fairly good original (although later 2 piece) for the other side to copy.

So I made a paper template of the section, laid it out on an old bay side cut, drew around it and cut it out after adding the lip to bend.
Once cut out I bent the lip and shaped it to the shape of the skin, a few screws to hold it together.

Worked out fairly well for a quick knock up, just have to make the other 2 bits.
