Thanks Gents.
He said late May to June but I’m not holding my breath based on his progress. Going to put the acid on him this week because otherwise i can see it dragging on.
Ideally I want to be behind the wheel late spring and paint is the only thing chewing up valuable time at the moment.

Thanks Steve. Yeah it’s definitely the toughest part of any resto getting someone reliable and reasonably priced.

If you want to make that rear trans cradle engineer ready before paint it just needs some 2mm steel welded inside the top hat section on the flat spanning the cut. I’m pretty sure Nick Bentley (rusty oval or something similar on here) told me that. Realistically it’s bloody fine as it is but just in case you ever want to go down that road.
