So here’s the plan, cut the tool chest area out as well as the chassis, leaving the wheel tubs and floor and bulk head
Put the chassis together with all new x members, rear floor, rear wheel tubs. Roll the chassis underneath and lower the cabin back on, then do the repairs to the cabin

Simple enough for the Wiz, frightening for most punters.
Looking forward to the progress mate

Seems simple enough…. Just spat my drink on the phone !!
Mate that is going to be a cracking effort resurrecting that shadow of a dual cab.
Looking forward to seeing your workmanship again.

Geez awesome to finally have a DC Ian...
Taking next level to the next level, but I'm certain your the man for the job. Sad thing is you'll probs have yours finished before I finish mine..
Awesome..👍👍

fuck me! I hope you have numbered all those pieces and drawn a map.

To me that would be like taking a slice of bread, cutting it up into bread crumbs and then having to join it back into a slice of bread.

This will of course be made to look easy with you on the job Wiz, let the magic begin!

Just some oddball things on the DC, it’s definitely 61 going by the chassis number but,
The wiring loom is for a fuel gauge bus, and the dash wires for the gauge are original but it has a fuel tap cable in it , the fuel tank has the sender in it as well as a manual fuel tap
It has a grab handle on the dash
The taillights are oval, and look factory fitted
Maybe assembled in 62 with all the extras a 62 would have had

So true... Oh and the bread crumbs have been mauled by 1000 seagulls before you even start putting it back together.

Of course will be watching this in awe.
