I told my oldest son i would have it finished for his year 12 formal, and in the end i just made it in time.
Off to formal car duties, and the beach.
and just like that some 8 years in the making it was finished.
I love this bus, it really is a nice thing to do miles in, big motor (to apparently compensate for penis size), freeway flyer gearbox, red 9, good brakes, and yet clean and simple.
Fucking aweseome.
The last stroke was to get the R series number plate which it was last registered under (had the rego papers in the car when i bought it), and install that, have been using it quite frequently ever since.
Taking it to the snow this august and then on to Volksfest in Lake McQuarrie, so hope to see some of you there..
Hopefully you have enjoyed me sharing the journey and it inspires some to get on with it and get their buses on the road (no names)..
Cheers

Didn't realise it had such a big donk...
Should have chucked a hot lap around the streets of Edwardstown when it was lurking in the area a few months back
