64 neon electric singlecab

Post by pmgbus »

have just finished putting the L380 turkis paint on the underside of the ute, very hard to get into all the corners! hoping to have the rest of the body in paint next week, have fitted new nose (danish- anyone had issues with these?) had top roof skin off to metalfinish the dents, roof, nose and sides in primer. hope to have on the road for october, adelaide or melb show.

so long as its a matress with springs, and the shell is bare, lower one side on to matress. then lift other side up with jack, put under jackstands, then put trolley jack on large block and lift again. just befor it gets to half way, check weight balance, stop before u get past this point as it will want to keep going. then push over on side. not that heavy as balsnce point is high. helps with two people, but can do with one person.

That is sweet. Same colour as my old mans ute too. Colour looks really good in the flesh so to speak. Thinking of paimting my double door the same colour. Nice work.

Thanks for that pmg, I think I'll have to give it a go on a bus I'm working on. The concrete floor is not too inviting in the Canberran winter
