Well the green machine has gone back to the workshop to get its 1000ks service after Narooma. A few things moved and a few broke, but thats to be expected in a bus thats been sitting 20 years.

Specifically the mutha of all flat spots. Chief reckons that it runs a good 20mph under where it should, so they are going to pull the engine and improve it over the next week or so. It's well down on power. Also gonna drop it an inch and tweek the suspension set up. Looking forward to it cruising at 80mph not 60!. Hoping to get some modded disc brakes up front too before Valla...discs with wide 5s...crazy shit.

Busy couple of weeks in the cold night air ... been working on the door cards and kick panels. Have to say, those factory clips to hold them in are shit. Upgrading tommorrow to self-tappers...thanks to Das for the ICE tips/links...

Should have the espresso machine up for test-firing next week, Monday will see the rear brace bar in. I dont want 70kilos of expresso machine heading my way in an accident.

The Blue Dog put me onto a guy whos gonna fit my cabinet work (hopefully before Valla). But have had fun drawing up interior plans in 3D geekware. There aint as much room in there as you'd think!.

Kicked up the audio today for the first time, and pretty happy so far too. Fitting an amp in the cab was a pain. Another few nights to go and then I can finally drown out the motor. Jeez panel vans are NOISY.

So with luck (time), I should get most of it done before Valla...and looking forward to being a major power drain on the camp-site with my 4000W kettle. lol. Makes a nice night time heater though.

Might even drive it tommorrow and take some pics, but now its dropped an inch or so, its not as nice as it was before ... but now it can fit in the garage!...
