Almost finished roof. Just need to weld roof sheet, that i cut off so i could get at the gutters.

I doubted myself that it couldn't be done. But,i surprised myself...

you mean along the roof sheets, where it meets the gutter ?
I would prefer a SpotWelder....but, yeah...thats about all i can do.
Plug weld, seam weld....sounds good. Thanks.

I'm just planning on plug weld roof sheet to the gutter rail strengthener.
Then seam weld to the existing roof sheet thats still in gutter.
Except for the corner which still needs the roof corner sheet edge fixed.

Here is an update:

Well, what can i say....but, weld, weld, weld X 1000....heh heh....
But, it is done. Roof is finished.
So, i had to replace front Chassis cross brace, i thought i'd do this first before i
get into the long haul of grinding the welds flat. And make that apart of Stage3: Body and Paint. Which is just around the corner....I'm excited...

Anyway here are the pics.

Amazing work mate! Great to see it all coming together so well!
Did you hand make the inner chassis strengthener too?
Some great craftsmanship right there 8)

thanks for the comments... Big motor...just the original 1200.

Unfortunately the last 2 weeks since the last update...I've had a run in with a nasty neighbor. So, i decided to rather then upset them, i took a short break for these weeks.

I was well in my right with council hours permitted to home workshop noise.
But, they just wanted to come around to say they had enough and want me to shut up....to put it politely.

But, i do think it is worth mentioning that guy next door is a wanker.
Before his wife came around with their baby to complain, the guy yells out across the fence "To SHUT THE fuck UP!!!! AND SHOW SOME FUCKIN RESPECT!!!"
Yeah, good one dickhead... Nice to know this after he throws a couple of big rocks over the fence.

So,I sealed of the workshop wall towards that neighbor to hopefully chill them out, when i start grinding all those welds....And to top it off i'll grind between 11am - 1pm. Just so they don't winge anymore, BUt if they do, i've done everything i can to make them happy.

Except for myself who has not been, happy. Not working the last weeks on my Bus...oh well...hopfully everything goes smoothly from now on.
So, expect another update soon...
