If you liked the bumpers, you would have gone crazy about the seat covers!! Matching Zebra skin. Only thing was they were fake and not the real thing. Out of respect for the previous owner I have not continued his interior theme , I've gone for some thing a little less startling.
I think also that the Victorian Police liked the bumpers so much, that they pulled this bus over and gave her an unroadworthy notice for their trouble.
Yes well that's another story.

Interior shots coming soon.

Wheels are KYOWA racing designer wheels KR320,17x7.5 Audi (copy) in black chrome.KYOWA Racing designer wheels; Ph 1800 111 029 Melbourne.

Ahhh, the Victorian Police.
That's caring for your safety.
The rims look great, mate, but I hate to think of the bill.
But if you love em then price is secondary.
Cheers & God Bless

It's been mighty safari window weather here in Melb' this weekend. We had a family trip over to Williamstown on Sunday for a family BBQ, even took Nana along for a ride in the old bus. She loved it!!

Hmmm, how good would it be in a 23?

I like the original approach you've taken with the steering wheel, column, handbrake etc 8) Nice to see it all in a colour other than black or white.
Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail.

Interior looks sweet and practical - you did well to get those seats in without ripping out the bulkhead.

Credit to ya!!

Thanks Elton,I've spent many hours thinking of good reasons why I should'nt "remove" the bulkhead. I guess since I'm a short arse there is no real need to, but it would be nice, if you know what I mean.

Kombi1976 I have 52mm vdo tacho and electric oil temp (yet to be fitted). The washer bottle set was from The bus stop and it was pretty pricey considering. I have tried to "wipe" some of the costs from my memory, however this one sticks in my mind as a bit of a rip-off.If you really want to know it was about $120.00. That's Australian dollars by the way. It could have been worse, it could have been Pounds Sterling Eh?

Your bus is coming along nicely too.

Good stuff.
Going subtle with the tacho there though.....can't bring myself to do it.
Had to go a 3 3/4" one.

You're right...that's pretty spendy.
Makes me think I might look for one on thesamba.com to see what can be found, especially with the dollar so good.

Thanks.
I'm just itching to drive her and she's getting closer but still a little way off.
I'm now just praying that the build goes smoothly and the weather stays good so Steve isn't slowed down.
Cheers & God Bless

Those seats I bought from The Trading Post in Melbourne a couple of years ago for $350.00. They are an after market seat and not from any specific vehicle that I know of. I did have to buy tracks for them (Saas)although I probably could have managed without them, since they do not travel back so far, (Bulhead) I made up a steel frame/bolt-in cradle, which took a bit of doing. But it fits into the floor contour of the bus without any hacking whatsoever. The only mod' I had to make to the bus was to remove the passenger side seat locator. 3 spot welds from memory.
It was quite fiddly, but I look at all this stuff as "therapy"

Not sure how this install would be if you have longggggg legs.
