Bruce loves you Matty......
Or at least your hedge...
Careful though...He did try to cut my grass one day..!
Maybe now he's moved on to hedges...2 feet higher and much more bushy...
Also, the mattress should be a compulsary inclusion when a rusty klunker/project is bought home...Gives you somewhere to bed down when the good lady doesnt share your vision...

PS Give your dog back the hair you shaved off him/her (too cold to tell)

Luv Tonz :shock:
Wanted..Barny bits or 60's Supercharger other than Judson

Yours is different because yours is not a 59/60 model.
Yours will be a 64 model. In Australia, we had nipple indicators until Feb. 1964 (except the utes, they changed in June, 1964 I think).

Have a look at the date on the fuel gauge, also the logo on the rear window, what letter is the dot above?

hey john...
mate no date on the fuel gauge. the only logo on the rear window is about the safety glass (no dot).

i remember once you posted a thread of an ID plate & explained all the letters/numbers on it... mine is as follows:

VOLKSWAGENWERK AG
Fahrgest: 1130180
Type2/255A Prutz: 545
~~~~26
~~~~~~1865
~~~~~~950 ~~~~1015
right hand side of engine is: 1130180
left hand side of engine is: DPU 1126
engine number is: F 1098907
any help would be appreciated. :wink:
cheers matty
The VINs are still the same worldwide as I understand it. Your may not have been sold till ealy 64. Also Aussie models were a few months late with the change of features. Eg My Nov 58 has ribbed bumpers when the US had slash bumpers in September. Yours has the rolled edge rear guards of the 62 onwards model. F know what I am trying to say here???
