My 11 window called Longimanus

Post by shark »

OK guys this is it the work starts on my 1965 11 window. It is now in Burleigh with Al from Das Resto :D

I plan to do a fair bit of work mostly by others as I don't feel confident to do it myself. A man has to know his limitations

I will post as sections are being done but I expect it to take a while so I won't be driving it any time soon  [/i]

Yep mate I plan to take he on a run about Tas once she is finished. Some rust around doors and hinges but doesn't look too bad. Time will tell when Al sand blasts it

Al just sent me some photo's of the Bus arriving she looks almost too good to strip back to bare metal. I know there will be some nasty shocks under the paint most likley though.

All in all she is in very good condition, so hopefully even though Al is bare metaling her she should not need a huge amount of work (cross fingers) Time will tell the full story :?
