the end of the rear most top hat section and the lower front section of the wheel arch was rusty so i cut them out and repaired prior to fitting a new inner sill.

Also made up a small section to finish up the last bit of the bulkhead.

I had to go higher than I'd hoped on the B pillar repair due to rust, I think the big holes drilled for the seat belts hadn't done it any favours. the repair section I had wasn't long enough so I had to make another one, which allowed me to make the contour to match the sill panel a lot closer than the repro one was.

Got the new bottoms of the uprights welded in.

I was a little unsure when mocking up my uprights, so I looked back through a few threads and found some guys get the bottom of the uprights to meet up with the bottom ledge of the inner sill panel and others don't. When I was mocking up the repair sections it was either A: have a gap at the bottom and have a snug fit along the curved side to the outer rocker, or B: have them touch the inner sill and have a big gap/poor fit along the curved side. So I checked out the old section I cut off and could see that the originals never met up with the inner sill. So I went with option A and got a nice fit along the curved side, but because I liked the idea of them meeting the inner sills I made up some little brackets and plug welded them in.

Now just mocking up the outer sill panel.
