Thanks guys,Yes very happy .
Doing a your own resto with a limited budget can take some time but It is really worth the effort and time.
The bulkhead rubber was a great score and adds to the effect and after all that agonising re color combinations to see it come together and work is very pleasing.

No although I live less than an hour from Old bar I did not go but I did spend the week end in a very kombi centric manner

Well after another ^ FUCKING MONTHS WAITING FOR PARTS PROMISED 3 WEEKS AWAY> sorry but the stuff around from Aussie resellers is amazing, continues and shits me tearless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Photos below include,
stripping and repainting seat frames.
springs were in good shape treated with rust converter all painted
WW Coco fibre seat pads were used and TMI upholstery kits.
Its important to cover the seat springs in a layer between the coco pads and the springs to stop the springs wearing through the seat pads,.
I used back less car carpet.
The coco pads fitted great.
Note be sure to match your middle seats with the correct upholstery there are two types of fold down flippers, across ( later and bay ) and straight forward early.
The TMI and WW matched very well a little care they fit very well.
dont forget to put some cards I used 3 mm MDF on the seat backs especially the middle and rear.

I was very fortunate to obtain some unobtainium IE matching 1963 only middle seat grab tube so that my restoration of the middle seat grabs with rechroming turned out first rate if I say so myself!

It's not often that anything I see while at work takes my breath away...but seeing those seat and that interior. Wow!
