SA river run

Post by Beatts »

A well overdue gathering took us to the Riverland this weekend meeting in the Adelaide hills before making our first stop at the Palmer hotel to have a cold beer and met up with another DSKr.

A couple of others met us at the shack and other than a nervous moment when a fellow DSKr started setting up his swag the evening went well.

Beers, BBQ, more beers and then some more brought out all the stories of splits bought, sold and missed.

Had a great time going for a cruise and catching up with some quality blokes, hopefully they have some photos also and will post them up.

It was great to get away, even if it was just for the night. Thanks for organising it Beatts. Hopefully restrictions end soon and we can get the whole Adelaide crew together for a run. Very jealous following the convoy of busses in my *cough triton *cough, more motivation to get this bloody bus finished.

I think if this becomes an annual even we’re going to need two nights in the future, I still had a couple of cold beers in the esky the next day

Thanks gents. Yep definitely a good way to shake off the winter cobwebs with a beers and bus run each year and the more the merrier so let’s hope 2022 is less hamstrung by COVID.

Found a couple more photos

Haha, I have no idea why I am Anonymous, I had a number 1 haircut that makes me look like I have had chemo, or maybe Mark thinks I am being followed after the ScoMo rant, who knows? I don’t take a good picture anyway and With my new haircut I look a bit like that anyway

Ha! Wiz you made some typically funny comment about not being allowed to show your face on social media. Something like the government is keeping track of you and it’s not COVID related.

The haircut looks good Wiz, I’ll post the original and let it go to a vote!
