Australian Safari

Post by sneak_e »

Covered a few hundred kms over the weekend chasing the last few stages of the Safari Rally here in WA. The splitty ran like a trojan, those single ports just go forever! Got loads of comments from the locals in a couple of small towns and even managed to cross some creek beds (slowly) with bow waves over the bottom of the front windscreen (also found drum brakes don't work well when wet :P) . Reckon next year I might enter it as a competition car :P

Some shots...

Great pics..That "mechanic" looks a lot like a legendary ex AFL player "Dipper" who now does Dimmeys ads on tv..

those pics are absolutely fantastic.
Any mug can take a photo but very few catch the feel like you pros.

I agree, that's gotta be dipper for sure.
Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail.

I don't think anyone is ever an 'Ex' photographer - not like you can switch it off ;)

Only other pic I have is on the members thread - funnily enough I don't take pics of my own bus.

Did you do the calendar shots for your website? The one on the site looks nice - got any more?
